President’s Newsletter July, 2006 What’s in this Newsletter?
1. Welcome!It’s a new year for NSA Pittsburgh and I can’t tell you how proud I am to serve as your president over the next year! 2. NSA Pittsburgh…Where members MATTER!In case you haven’t heard, our theme this year is NSA Pittsburgh…Where Members MATTER! You are what makes NSAP an incredible community and we plan to make your experience with NSA Pittsburgh priceless! 3. NSA Convention in beautiful OrlandoNSA Convention in Orlando is coming up…if you are going, please email me to let me know so we can plan to meet in Orlando as a group. We have 3 NSA Pittsburgh members speaking at Convention: Jeff Tobe, CSP, Craig Karges, CSP, and me. Show your support by attending the convention! If you are not going, consider changing your mind…it’s an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
4. WE NEED YOU!
Your NSA Pittsburgh experience depends on how much you put into it. We need you to give a little in an area that you LOVE. If you’d like to volunteer to be on a committee, please contact any of the board members (www.NSAPittsburgh.org). Remember, the more you give, the more you get.

We are always looking for:
Greeters Folks to pick up/take speaker to the airport (great opportunity to meet great people!) Registration Raffle Runners (I made that up) Introducers Guest Follow Up Website administrator List serve coordinator PR guru Someone to coordinate dinner with the speaker the evening before our meetings And any other thing you can think of to volunteer for J
We wouldn’t ask if we didn’t need you! 5. My promise to you…As your new president, I want to make the best effort I know how to make sure your experience with NSA Pittsburgh is a great one. We will go back to some basics like introductions at each meeting, greeters to welcome you, a brief update at the beginning of each meeting, member involvement, revival of the 50/50 raffle (you never know!), door prizes, a display table for member products and brochures, and more!
You know this is not possible without a phenomenal board of directors. Leading the way for NSA Pittsburgh are:
