Platform and Branding Differentiation:
The Key to Long Term Speaking Success

Do you ever wonder why some speakers and trainers are more successful than others, without having to do all of that uncomfortable cold-calling?  Well, it’s not a mystery or a secret.  They “Bring It on the Platform.”  It’s how they study, personalize, deliver stories, humor, validate their client culture, message and differentiate their topics, take-a-ways and speaking styles, so that they differentiate and stand out from the rest.  That’s right – how they brand themselves on the platform with their presentation style.

Most meeting planners hire professional speakers and trainers that they have heard personally or either have had multiple committee members, team members, colleagues, friends or speakers bureaus refer them.  Why is that?  Because they want to hire a speaker that is little or no risk that will make them look good.  It’s just that simple.  It’s their job to put on a professional event and the speaker must be a professional partner for their success.

This will be a content filled and fun presentation on how to develop the type of branded platform skills and follow up techniques that will get associations, corporations, government agencies and speakers bureaus to consider you as a partner for their meeting success.  You will learn:

•    How to find your own stories and make them relevant to your topics/points
•    How to leverage a free (or non-paid) presentation into paid speaking engagements
•    How to both market and grow your business brand through your unique presentation style as opposed to being just an expert on a topic
•    How to get paid as a speaker by using your skills to help validate what the client has been trying to teach their employees or association members
•    How to present in such a way that the audience doesn’t know if you are part time, full time, local or national speaker (unless you want them to know)
•    How to soar high both professionally and financially and get referrals by telling the audience what they need to know , what they didn’t know they needed to know, in a way that makes them enjoy the learning, take some action or make a change
•    How to add appropriate humor to your most requested topics.
•    How to differentiate your platform style from anyone else
•    How to soft sell other programs from the platform, while your speaking.
•    How to create a market/promotional kit brand that matches your performance

Because if you BRING IT ON THE PLATFORM….THEY WILL COME.
